Bilge hose

I have to re-hab my bilge hose install done by the previous owner. My pumps (Rule) all use 1 1/8 ID hose. I would like to re-plumb them with smooth wall hose but cannot find it in this seemingly odd ID. All I can find is that flimsy flex stuff with the corrugated walls. What have you folks used? David

Find or make adaptors to a 1quot; common hose. It's NOT a high pressure system and should not be discharged below the water line, so perfection is not a must. Just needs to securely hold the flow. Fair winds~~~~~

I recommend using a Heavy-Duty Smooth-Walled hose for all critical underwater applications, including Bilge Pump Discharge (NOT “Bilge-Flex”). Shields 135 or 148 series “Smooth Bore” is available in 1-1/8quot; I.D. Groco makes a 1-1/4quot; threaded to 1-1/8quot; hose adaptor (for the Thru-Hull/Seacock end).
