What type of crayfish?

Here's a challenge for all you invert junkies- an ID without a pic! I caught a few crays when fishing today. Two are about 1-3/4quot; and the third is 1-1/4quot;. Shell is brownish, tips of claws are a vivid red. Caught in a tidepool in the Ohio River below a dam when flow was low, so I assume they're used to a rapid current. Any ideas?

could it be a red clawed crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus) although not from that area and it may be a bit to small for the red in the claws?????so just a guess, and a start

I appreciate the guess, but the pics that came up for it on google all showed more of a blue body. Mine are brown, I will go look at them again in the morning.

i know i am wrong i was just getting the ball rolling mate ;o)
